Space Norway is a state-owned enterprise under the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries, dedicated to keeping Norway at the forefront of the space industry. As Northern Europe’s leading satellite operator and a key player in the international space sector, the company is classified as a Category 1 company by the Norwegian government.
«The acquisition of Telenor Satellite marked a significant milestone in the history of Space Norway, leading to a substantial expansion of our operations and capabilities. This development accelerated the need for a rebranding initiative to unify the two companies, communicate our united identity and expanded solutions, and embody our pursuit of innovation. Stem Agency, as our communications partner, has been instrumental in navigating this transformative journey.»
– Randi Ellingsen, Head of Communication and PR, Space Norway
As a result of the acquisition, Telenor Satellite has been renamed Space Norway, a new brand identity and company motto has been developed as well as a new global web site.
«Space Norway is an important company for Norway, and a formidable player in the global space sector. We are proud to collaborate with entities of this importance and have been trusted with the entire scope: the “Space for More.” concept, brand identity, corporate film, advertisement and marketing materials and the new web site.»
– Bjørn Korterud, Commercial Director at Stem Agency and lead advisor for Space Norway.
Over the past six months, Stem Agency has worked closely with the Space Norway team to ensure a substantial delivery in a short timeframe. Expanding on the subject, Korterud says:
«The breadth in Space Norway’s services and activities is impressive, with a large array of different stakeholders globally. The biggest communication challenge was to capture the totality, without leaving anything out. The solution was «Space for More.», which is highly adaptable and future proof. This project has required extensive deliverables in a relatively short time space, credit is due to both my colleagues and the Space Norway team which have made this happen.»
