The Blystad Group is a Nordic powerhouse with active operations within three core business areas; Shipping, Real Estate and Investments. The group has a long history in international shipping, having been an active shipowner and operator for more than three decades. They are also widely regarded as one of the key capital go-to-investors in the Nordics, and control a diversified real estate portfolio consisting of commercial and residential properties with a team handling the entire value chain.

Stem Agency has developed The Blystad Group’s visual identity, global web site and marketing material. In addition, we have made unique sites for Songa Shipmanagement and the crown in the company’s real estate portfolio, Haakon VII’s gate 1.

Whilst known as The Blystad Group, various subsidiaries use the prefix SONGA. The “Songa”-name stems from a river by the town where the Blystad-familiy have their heritage. The river is used as an element in the visual identity. In addition to the professionals located at the company’s headquarters in Oslo, their maritime organization employs ~50 onshore staff in Glasgow as well as ~1,100 seafarers.
